Features, (1) two sets of upper incisors. (2) spongy matrix of bone lining the mandible. (3) large orbits. (4) large zygomatic breadth. (5) slight curved mandible. (6) short narrow nasal cavities.
Excepting in skull size differences, there is very little morphologically, to distinguish between L europaeus and O. cuniculus.
