Overall features of the skeleton show a small head relative to lengths of limb and tail, and it is surprising to find the forelimbs being very long, with most of the length found in the long forearm bones, which are considerably more elongated than the humerus.
Forelimbs are used by Wallaby in their crawling gait, holding food, opening and cleaning the pouch also for sparing between individuals.

Features. For an animal that hops, the hind limbs are characterized by the long bones. The foot is an extreme structure that is characteristic of diprotodont marsupial. There are 4 digits, #1 is absent, 2 & 3 are syndactylous, and #4 is enlarged to extend the foot into a rigid like lever that enhances the hopping process.
